Spicy Cocktail Nuts
Jump to recipe
I got the original recipe from my friend Paul Kalmes and modified it as I usually do. (I can’t help myself!) I have rosemary growing in my herb garden about 8 or 9 months out of the year, so this gets made often.
Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups Salted Mixed Nuts – Costco (Remove Brazil Nuts)
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh rosemary
- 1-1/2 Teaspoons Smoked Sweet Paprika
- 1/2 Teaspoon cayenne (more if you like it hot)
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon Diamond Crystal kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Roast nuts for 10 min on parchment lined baking sheet.
- Whisk together other ingredients in large bowl.
- Add the warm nuts tossing to coat.
- Dump the nuts back on the parchment lined tray and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the parchment & nuts from the cookie sheet and place on a cooling rack until crispy and cool.
